Patricia Hennigan Collins, 87ANDERSON - Patricia Hennigan Collins, 87, formerly of Muncie, IN died peacefully at St. Vincent Anderson Regional on Monday, January 16, 2017 after a courageous fight with cancer.She was born on September 30, 1929, in Muncie to the late Francis and Lena Hennigan. Patricia graduated Muncie Central in 1948, where she was active in art and choir.  She attended St. Lawrence Church and was a member of St. Mary's Church. After high school she worked in ladies fine apparel until 1967. She liked traveling in the United States and collected fine art paintings. She was an avid sports fan of football, golf, baseball, Indy Car & NASCAR Racing.Patricia is survived by her son, David Sanders (Marty Berman) of Tequesta, FL; daughter, Rebecca Bynum (John Bynum) of Anderson; sister, Rita Gatzemeyer (Marvin Gatzemeyer); grandchildren, Carol Jackson Hale (Ron Hale) of Anderson, Eric Jackson (Christina Tapp) of Indianapolis; great-grandchildren, Erik Jackson of Indianapolis, Brian Jackson of Muncie, Patrick Tobin of Anderson and Angel Tapp of Indianapolis; great-great-grandchildren, Kenny, Emilia and Eve; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Frances Hennigan; brothers, Jerry and Mike Hennigan.Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, followed by the Rosary Service.Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of services. www.brownbutzdiedring.com
