Patricia Louise Long was born on August 3, 1939 in Roswell, New Mexico to John and Lena Webb. She passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on November 28, 2016 at Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nevada with her daughter, Kelli, by her side.Patti married Ed McNamara in 1957 and together they had three children. She and Ed divorced in 1967. Patti's sister, Joyce Webber, set her up on a blind date with a very good looking guy named Jack Long, and the rest is history! They were married in October 1968 and shared their life together until Jack's passing in 2011. Jack had family in Bishop, CA and always wanted to move there, so in June 1970 Jack and Patti left Southern California to start their adventure in Bishop. Patti got a job at Inyo Mono Bank where she met lifelong friend, Judy Moya. Throughout the years Patti worked at several other places such as the Ford car dealership for Jim Ellis, Mr. K's Automotive and Brune Mortuary. Jack and Patti moved to Grass Valley, CA where they managed an adult mobile home park for 17 years. Patti lived in Sterling Heights in Bishop for the last few years and enjoyed all the activities there. She loved being referred to as "the sparkly lady" always wearing her sparkly jewelry and matching sparkly clothes. She knew how to put an outfit together all the way down to her shoes and purse!Patti was preceded in death by husband, Jack Long. She is survived by sister, Joyce Webber of Las Vegas, NV; son, Edward McNamara (Andrea) of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Kelli Brown (doug) of Bishop, CA; daughter Staci Simmons of Waynesville, MO; grandchildren, Bucky, Nick, Dennis and Gary Brown, Edward and Katherine McNamara, Jenn Beer, Alisha Hoag and 8 Great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Patti Long will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1pm at the Cavalry Baptist Church, 1100 W. Line Street, Bishop, CA. Please wear your favorite sparkly jewelry as we remember our mother, grammy, sister and friend!
