February 20, 1938 - November 9, 2016 Patricia M. Pike died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9 at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge, CA. She was 78. She was born on February 20, 1938 in Santa Monica, CA to Leslie and Irene Meyer, and grew up in the Los Angeles area until 1947, when she relocated to Delhi, CA, in the San Joaquin Valley. Pat married George Almeida in 1957 and settled in Taft, CA. Together they had two children, Kevin and Lezlee. The marriage ended in divorce in 1959. Pat relocated to Woodland Hills, CA in 1966. She married Robert Meyerson in 1965 and was divorced in 1973. In 1990 Pat married John Jacob Pike, who died in 2004. For 28 years Pat was employed by Glen Glenn Sound of Hollywood (later Todd-AO Studios). Pat brightened the day of everyone she met. She was known for her generous and welcoming spirit, charitable work with the elderly, elegant demeanor, and her puns. Pat was multi-talented: she enjoyed golf, playing the piano, and art, including paintings, sculpture, stained glass, and interior/exterior design. She is survived by her brother Deane, her children, Kevin Almeida and Lezlee Grundy, and her grandsons, Tyler and Ethan Almeida. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 16, 12:00 noon at St. Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church in Woodland Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia's name to: City of Hope, Motion Picture Hospital-Long Term Care, Humane Society, or Lange Foundation.
