Patricia MartinChambersburgPatricia Funk Martin, 75, passed away October 17, 2017 at home. She was born on March 1, 1942 in Parkersburg, WVa. She was raised by Whayne and Alice Funk, her aunt and uncle. She was an avid painter, enjoyed various arts and crafts, loved animals of all kinds, and loved Cape Cod. It was her desire to become a nurse and she had started classes to that end, but never was able to complete the classes. Her true love was her children. She had been President of her husband's heating and air conditioning company. She will be missed by her caregivers, Holly, Martina, Joan, Terry, Racheal, Tylina, and Tisha, who all loved her very much.She is survived by her two children, Patrick (husband of Melissa) Martin of Falmouth, MA, and Kristin Martin of Harwich, MA; and her stepson, Christopher (husband of Charlene) Brereton of Clear Spring, MD. She has nine grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Martin,earlier this year; and a sister, Sherry Hunter.A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 from 12 till 4 p.m. at the family home, 101 New Lane, Chambersburg. At 3 p.m. there will be a short funeral service with Rev. Terri Zastovnik officiating. The family encourages that memorial donations be sent to the National MS Society, P.O.
