She was born on October 3, 1942 in Greenville, Mississippi to the union of the late Lucylle and Milton N. Howard. Patricia is survived by her son: Michael Howard and her daughter: Alaina K. Archer, two grandchildren: Ashylin Michael Howard and Alyssa Patricia Howard all of Garden Grove, California, her grandchildren were her delight and the love of her life; loving sister: Anita (Lawrence) Jordan of Michigan City; also surviving are uncle: Walter Howard, Aunt: Anita Smith both of Greenville, MS, Aunt: Rose Robinson of Jackson, MS and special Aunt: Leona T. Jordan of Greenville, MS; nephews: L. Jay (Sarah) Jordan IV of Minnetonka MN, Patrick Cannon of Bloomington, IN, Laurin (Shannon) Jordan, Ethan Jordan all of Dardanelle, AR, L. Jonathan Jordan V of Dallas, TX, Devin Cannon of Bloomington, IN, Caleb Colbert of Denver, CO and one niece: Akaliah Cannon of Bloomington, IN and a host of cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed.Patricia was Salutatorian of her graduating class at Sacred Heart High School, Greenville, MS. She attended Jackson State College and graduated from St. Therese School of Nursing, Waukegan, IL. Patricia was a nurse practitioner having studied at the University of Alabama and University of Mississippi specializing in OB/GYN. After retiring from the Huntington Beach Community Clinic in 2014 she moved to Michigan City, IN to be with her sister.Memorial Services will be held at a later date, arrangements entrusted to Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or donor's choice.
