SALEM - Patricia Ruth McDonald, 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Burlington. Patty was born on December 6, 1955 in Anderson, S.C. to Haskell and Billie (Snipes) Jefferson. Patty was united in marriage to Kenneth McDonald for over 30 years. She was employed with the Southern Wisconsin Center for over 30 years. She enjoyed many hobbies including: making stained glass, sewing and knitting. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Patty is survived by, her husband, Kenneth McDonald of Salem; two children, Billy (Rica) McDonald of Pleasant Prairie and Kimberly (Adam) Ahler of Trevor; step-daughter, Robin (Pascual) Vazquez of Holland, MI two grandchildren, Nathan and Nolan Ahler; two step-grand -children, Natalie and Evelynne Vazquez; two brothers, Michael (Kathy) Jefferson of Kenosha and Danny Jefferson of Florida; as well as nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by, her parents; her sister, Melissa Tarr and her granddaughter, Ricia McDonald. Funeral services for Patty will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Hansen- Lendman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
