Patricia S. Michael61, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:01 p.m. at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Patricia was born on August 8, 1956 in Dayton to the late Charles T. and Dorothy (Ottinger) Flood.She graduated from Wainwright High School and went on to attend Lafayette Beauty Academy. Patricia married John Michael on November 5, 1993 in Lafayette, and he survives. She worked for over 35 years as a Service Worker at Shreve Hall at Purdue University, was a member of Moose Lodge, enjoyed Crossword Puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.Surviving along with her husband is one son, Brandon Michael, her mother-in-law: Louise Force, step mother: Pat Flood, 2 brothers, Mark (wife: Linda) Flood, and Kenny (wife: Heidi) Flood. Sister-in-law Chris Mapes. Also surviving is two nephews, Kevin (wife: Trinity) Flood, Patrick Mapes and 5 nieces, Kelli (husband: Mike) Richards, Kristle Flood, Megan Flood, Jessica Flood and Allison Stuve.She is preceded in death by one infant brother, her step-father, Wayne Kyees, and one niece, Kolet Flood.Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one-hour prior at Hippensteel Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the .
