Van Sleet, Patricia L.Patricia L. Van Sleet, age 79, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at her residence.She was born on December 18, 1934 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late James & Emily (Petrashek) Sousek Kraftcheck. After graduating from Washington High School, Two Rivers, she worked at Hamilton Manufacturing before her marriage to James Van Sleet in 1955. Patricia then worked as a secretary at Holy Innocents Grade School for several years and always enjoyed students when they recognized her years later.Survivors include her husband: James F. Van Sleet, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael & Brenda Van Sleet, Kevin & Marjorie Van Sleet; her grandchildren: Sara & Kathleen Van Sleet, Brooke (Kevin) Fischer and adopted grandson: Robert (Lori) Van Sleet; great grandchildren: Alex & Blake Fischer plus Nadine, Damian & Aubrey Van Sleet; an aunt: Helen (Richard) Ertman; a sister-in-law: Rosemary (Vanderbusch) Borgwardt and a brother-in-law: Eugene Kostka. She was preceded in death by her mother: Emily; her father: James Sousek; her step father: Edward Kraftcheck; a brother: James Sousek and a sister-in-law: Helen Kostka.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo - 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev.
