Patricia Wortman, 76Patricia "Patty" Wortman passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the age of 76. She was born on February 13, 1940 to the late Ralph and Mary Jane (Wilson) Saubert in Lafayette, IN. Patty loved spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo, working puzzles, and cooking. She attended Christ Fellowship Church in Monticello, IN. Patty is survived by eight children: Victoria Pattengale, Veronica (Lynn) Lutz, Jerry (Cindy) Pattengale, Vivian (Lenny) Scott, Jinny (Poutarco) Granger, Vincent (Kirsten) Pattengale, Orval (Shelley) Pattengale, and Abraham (Tammy) Pattengale. She is also survived by her stepmother, Neta Saubert and a number of siblings from a large blended family. Patty was a loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Jerry Pattengale, her second husband, Monty Wortman, several beloved siblings, and a great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Pattengale officiating. Visitation for friends and family begins at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Battleground Cemetery. Memorial contributions c/o Vivian Scott would be welcomed in lieu of flowers.
