Patrick J. McGuire, age 66 of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 3, 1950 in Michigan the son of Joseph and Patricia (Behrendt) McGuire. He was united in marriage to Patricia Homuth on August 12, 1978 in West Bend, WI. Their marriage was blessed with two sons. Pat was employed as a track foreman on the railroad for over 30 years retiring from Canadian National in 2010. Pat is survived by his wife, Patricia of 38 years, sons: Ryan (Alicia Dais) and Kyle (Tiffany St. Clair) McGuire; mother, Patricia McGuire, one brother, Michael (Debra) McGuire, one sister, Colleen Walling; parents-in-law, William and Betty Homuth, two brothers-in-law: Jerry (Sue) and Bradley (Gail) Homuth; he is further survived by a special aunt, Lorraine Kraus and dearest friends, Jim and Kris; also many nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.A memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Living Water Lutheran Church, 1585 S. Oakwood Drive, with Pastor John Dorn officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 2:30 pm until the time of service.
