Patrick J. WeberPatrick J. Weber 83, Dimock, died February 9, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Canton, South Dakota.Funeral Services will be 10:30am on February 13th, at St. Peter and Paul Church in Dimock, South Dakota. The burial will be at the Dimock Cemetery with a luncheon following immediately after. Visitation will be at St. Peter and Paul Church for the public from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, February 12th, with a prayer service at 4:00pm.He was born on September 4th, 1933 to Peter L. Weber & Anna (Kurtenbach) on a farm north of Parkston. When he was 11, they moved to a farm northwest of Dimock where he spent the rest of his childhood. He attended S.S. Peter & Paul Parochial School and graduated in 1947.On September 30th, 1952 he married Lavalle Gau of Ethan. After a short stay in Mitchell they moved to Dimock. At the age of 16, he went to work for Shonley Construction. In 1963, he started his own business, Weber Construction, which he owned and operated until he retired in 2012. He moonlighted at too many jobs to list in order to support his family and keep his business growing. He was active in his church belonging to the Knights of Columbus and a member of the church and cemetery board. His hobbies included baseball, trap shooting, golf, playing cards, and spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren.On December 19th, 2016 he moved to the Good Samaritan Society in Canton, South Dakota to be closer to his children. He passed there after a brief illness.He is survived by his children Gary Weber (Cathy) Dimock SD, Linda (Ed) Lynch, Luverne, MN, Jan (Tom) McCoy, Sioux Falls, SD, Deb (Scott) Flanders, Woodbury MN, & Ron Weber (Kim) Canton, SD. 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, one sister MaryAnn Puetz, Mitchell, SD and one brother, Dale Weber, Rochester, MN and many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his wife, Lavalle, parents Peter & Anna, 3 brothers Victor, Willard and Marlin, 3 sisters Lillian Jinks, Adele Hohn, and Donna Mae Puetz.
