PATRICK RAYMOND JOHN DUFFY Age 61, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Riverside, California. He was born on August 23, 1955 in La Mesa, CA and had lived in Riverside, CA since 1972. Pat graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater in 1982. He served in the USMC in the early 1970's as a private in Camp Pendleton, earning a Rifle Marksman Badge and National Defense Service Medal. He co-owned and operated a popular local eatery, Jammin' Bread Bakery/Cafe, with his wife since 1996. He enjoyed taking long walks on the beach with his granddaughter, as well as singing and playing the guitar and ukulele with family and friends. Pat was a life-long learner, fiercely protective of his loved ones, and had a theatrical humor. He was an eclectic artist with a generous nature and one-of-a-kind personality. He traveled up the California coast, took several trips to Hawaii and visited Ireland twice. Pat is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl Anne Watson Duffy of Riverside; two sons, Adam (Cristina) of Aliso Viejo and Christopher of Riverside; mother Ramona (Howard) Ingalls of Riverside; two grandchildren, Emily and Ethan; brothers Mike (Cindie) and Danny; sisters Erin (Jim), Mary (Brock) and Dawn. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Patrick's life on Thursday, December 29th from 3-5 pm at Jammin' Bread Bakery/Cafe in Riverside.
