Paul Harold KachmarykPaul Harold Kachmaryk, 43, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, from a blood clot in his lung. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Celebration on Thursday, January 19 from 5-8 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 2400 South Washington Ave, Titusville, FL. Military honors will be rendered during the services and his remains later placed at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Paul was born on April 13, 1973, in Rochester, NY, graduated from Webster High School in 1991 and then enlisted in the USAF. During his 8 years of service he was promoted to staff sergeant (SSGT) and was stationed overseas in Japan and Germany; his last duty assignment was at the Hill Air Force Base Utah. Paul eventually settled in Florida where he went on to attain his degree at Eastern Florida State Collage and enjoyed a successful career in the IT field for the next 17 years. Also known as "Captain Kaz," Paul was passionate about hockey, which he started playing at the age of 5 and continued throughout his adult years. He was chosen as captain of his team for many years with numerous competitive events such as the Vegas Team Tournament and the Rink of Dreams. He was close to his hockey teammates and created many lasting relations throughout his life in both work and play.He is survived by his parents David Kachmaryk (Jacqueline Burns) and SueAnn Burley; daughter Rebekah Kachmaryk; sister BethAnn (Thomas) Rowlands; devoted girlfriend, Regina West; nieces and nephews, Evan and Lily Rowlands and former wife Suzette M.
