GLENDALE, AZ Mr. Paul L. Yingling "Pete," passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, in Glendale, Ariz. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie Godfrey Yingling; and sons, Keith and wife, Jeana, and Kevin and wife, Stephanie. Also surviving are Pete's grandchildren, Hannah and Easton, and Pete welcomed into his family Braydon and Caitlyn Bell. Pete leaves behind his mother, Dorothy, and three sisters. Pete was predeceased by his father, Luther Howard Yingling. Pete was born on September 27, 1952, in Carlisle. He married Debbie, his high school sweetheart, on November 25, 1972, in York. Pete served honorably for four years in the
United States Air Force, was honorably discharged, and remained a proud veteran and patriot throughout his life. Pete was currently employed with the city of Phoenix, and was well respected by his crews for his dedication, professionalism, and integrity of service. Pete's hobbies included history and genealogy, world travel, 4-wheeling in his Jeep, and expert craftsmanship in woodworking. He especially enjoyed woodworking with his grandchildren while teaching and spending time with them in his shop. Services will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley, Phoenix, Ariz., at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26. Final interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
