Walton, Paul Sloan,79, died on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Paul was born on July 7, 1938 in Nashville, TN to Elizabeth Sloan Bainum and Sublette M. Walton.Paul was preceded in his death by his parents (Bebe and Sub) and his sister, Elizabeth Walton (Betty) Jones and her husband Scoggan Jones, Jr. Paul is survived by his sister Mary Jane Walton of Houston, TX, his nephew and guardian Paul Breckinridge Jones, Sr. and his wife Rhonda Totty Jones of Louisville, his niece Elizabeth Price Jones of Ridgetop, TN, plus four grand-nieces and grand-nephews Lindsey Jones Caruthers and her husband Alex Caruthers (Indianapolis), Paul Breckinridge Jones, Jr. (Denver), Robert Cutter Jones (Louisville) and Cole Arias (Ridgetop).Paul was a life-long (70 year) resident of the Stewart Home School in Frankfort, KY where he was an avid fisherman, bowler and crossword puzzler. Special thanks are directed to the entire staff of Stewart Home School for the love and outstanding care extended to Paul over his many years there and to Jessie McCall Jones a dear friend of 55 years in Louisville.His memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, at 11:30 AM at St. Francis in the Fields.
