Paul Williams Paul R. Williams, age 81, of Grenada, died Thurs., July 19, 2012 at his daughter's home in Houma, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Sun., July 22, 2012) at National Funeral Home. Funeral services are at 10 am on Mon., July 23, 2012, at National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Leflore Cemetery near Holcomb, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harper and Pauline Williams; his wife Margaret Tingle Williams and a grandchild, Destiny Whitsell. Survivors include two daughters, LaDonna Cruse of Houma, Louisiana, and Billie Rose Flynn of Grenada; one son, Billy Williams of Marvell, Arkansas; and five grandchildren, Madison Cruse, Dylan Cruse, Sam Whitsell, Chelsey Flynn, and Emma-Leigh Flynn. Bro. Laney Haley will be officiating the services. Paul was born on August 2, 1930 in Tallahatchie County to Harper Williams and Pauline Vance Williams. He was a member of Leflore Baptist Church near Holcomb, MS. Mr. Williams is a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean conflict. He was employed as a wire line technician with Western Atlas Company. National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
