Paul Y. JordanCottonwood, CAPaul Y. Jordan, 81, passed away on November 26, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, where he was surrounded by family. He was born on October 14, 1935 in Oakland, Ca.Paul served in the Army from 1954-1956. He attended Modesto Junior College and Sacramento State University. Paul worked in the banking industry throughout his career.Paul retired in Cottonwood with his wife, Barbara. They purchased property and built their home and acquired cattle throughout their retirement.Paul enjoyed boating and fishing on the Delta and Sacramento River. He enjoyed traveling and RV traveling in the last three years. He also enjoyed watching and attending all of his grandkids activities.Paul is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Carol Jordan and his sister, Garnar Lu.Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara and children Janell Peterson, Lance Keck (Jenae), Derrek Keck (Joni), Kelly Clendenen (Woody) and Chad Bennett. Eight grandchildren Candace, Erica, Brandon, Jonathan, Emily, Shayla, Cody and Erin and one great grandchild Johanna.Services will be held December 5 at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, Ca at 11:30.Please sign the guestbook at http://obits.redding.com
