Pauline E. Timmermann1916 - 2016Pauline E. Timmermann, 100, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home in Boise. She was born on May 28, 1916 in Chariton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Myrtle Dillman. Pauline married Harold F. Timmermann in 1942 shortly before he joined the Service. She lost Harold in 2005. Pauline was one of six loving sisters and a brother, growing up in the farm country of Iowa. She excelled at the piano and loved harmonizing with her sisters in school and church choirs. She reveled in her extended family of wonderful in-laws, nieces and nephews. Pauline devoted her life to her family, providing a loving and nurturing home to her children as Harold's job with Burroughs Corporation moved them to different locations in Iowa, Illinois, Utah, California and Idaho. She volunteered at the Red Cross Donation Center and played in several bridge clubs where she acquired and maintained many life-long friendships. Attending the Cathedral of the Rockies in Boise with several valued friends, Pauline's faith gave her unwavering strength and grace through her final days. Surviving Pauline are two sons, William Timmermann (Stuart Oon) of Singapore and John Timmermann (Betsy McFadden) of Boise, and one sister, Helen Gilmore of Twin Falls as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held in the Cana Chapel at the Cathedral of the Rockies, 717 N. 11th St. Boise on Thursday, December 15 th at 12:00 noon. A graveside service for the immediate family will be held at a different time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boise Rescue Mission.
