Pauline (Polly) Haney Sanders of Rock Hill, SC went to her Heavenly Home on October 9, 2016. She was born on February 28, 1930 near Del Rio, TN to the late George and Nancy Ellison Haney. Polly was predeceased by her husband Marion James Sanders, four brothers and three sisters. Polly worked for Celanese in Rock Hill for many years. She and her husband owned and operated Marions Drive In in Rock Hill, SC for many years. Polly retired from Lance, Inc in Pineville, NC. She is survived by her two sons, Marion Franklin Sanders (Cindy) of Spartanburg, SC and Homer Edward Sanders of Rock Hill, SC. Grandsons William Franklin Sanders of Mt. Pleasant, SC and James Cameron Sanders of Spartanburg, SC. Polly is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Polly was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Rock Hill, SC for 58 years where she was active in every aspect of the church and sang in the choir. Visitation will take place from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Harmony Cemetery, 5403 Harmony Church Rd. Edgemoor, SC.
