HOMEGOING CELEBRATION FOR MRS. PAULINE "LINE" GURLEY-MCKENZEY
PAULINE MAE GURLEY-MCKENZEY, departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. She was born to the late Thomas S. Gurley and Prisciller Timmons-Gurley on July 29, 1930.
Pauline accepted Christ into her life at an early age and joined El Bethel A.M.E. Church in Lancaster, South Carolina. She later relocated several places in North Carolina and later joined Abundant Church then Greater Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church which she made her home away from home. She served faithfully in all phases of the church and was a dedicated member of the Stewardess Board, Senior Choir and Women's Missionary Society.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: Three sons, Timothy D. Mckenzey (Dorine), Willie L. "Bill" McKenzey (Lindsey), Two Daughters, Sharon McKenzey Bostick (Julius). Grandsons: Gregory Gurley, Marshon Todd, and Maurice Todd. One Granddaughter, Marshia Todd of Lithonia, Georgia. A loving and devoted familiy of Great-grandsons and Great-Great Grandsons and Granddaughters.
Pauling also leaves eleven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, a great number of nieces, newphews, cousins and a very cherished friend, Mrs. Hattie Mae Raeford.
