PAULINE LAROSE WRIGHT, 92 CLARENDON HILLS - Pauline LaRose Wright, 92, of Clarendon Hills, IL and formerly of Freeport, died Thursday February 27, 2014 at Hinsdale Adventist Hospital in Hinsdale, IL. She was born on December 1, 1921 in Lakeland, FL, the daughter of Jerome and Anna Louise (Foeste) Norvell. Pauline married Ralph Wright, Jr. on April 20, 1943; he died on December 29, 2007. She was a book keeper. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church, P.E.O Sisterhood, Girl Scouts, and Elks Lodge 217. She enjoyed spending time on the Mississippi River Houseboat. Pauline is survived by her son, Thomas Glenn Wright of Kingsport, TN; her daughter, Mary (Stuart) Thomson of Downers Grove, IL; two grandchildren, Michelle Marie Torkelson of Madison, WI and Megan Catherine Thomson of Palatine, IL; three nephews; and her son-in-law, Ramon Torkelson of Valhala, NY. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her daughter, Kathryn Torlkelson; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with the Rev. Kathleen Luke officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Calendonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL on March 10th.
