MIRACLE — Pearlie Jean Wilson Wilder, 65, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by family friends and loved in Miracle, KY. She was born on January 15, 1951 in Bell County, KY, the daughter of Viola Howard Wilson and the late Brown Lee Wilson.
Pearlie was of the Baptist Faith and had a strong belief a body could be healed with faith. For many years, she served the community at Engle's Drive In of Pineville, KY as a car hop and waitress. She will leave it for her sister, Maxine, to continue the friendly curb side service, for which she would probably smile and say, "Good luck to you all with that." She is preceded in death by her father, Brown Lee Wilson, grandparents, Enos and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Howard and W.M. and Dora Wilson.
Survivors include her mother, Viola Wilson; three sisters, Maxine (Wilson) Wright of Miracle, Geraldine (Wilson) Howard of Pathfork and Linda (Wilson) (Butch) Boatright of Miracle; her beloved and precious dog, Trixie, whom she loved very much; there is a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she considered to be her special children. Our family would also like to say a special thanks to Debbie Engle for all the things that she has done for Aunt Pearlie.
Services will be at 8:00 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Miracle and Rev. David Gibbons, both of whom are very dear and close family members. Music will be by Oakdale Baptist Church and special requested music by Becky Gibbons. Burial will be in the Cubbage Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Pearlie Wilder. Light a virtual candle and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
