Peggy was born on November 16, 1949 in Medicine Hat, AB, to her loving parents, Albert and Aylean Harris. The family moved to Calgary in 1953 where Peggy graduated from Crescent Heights High School and went on to graduate from SAIT; she excelled in the Business Administration program. Peggy held a number of positions in Calgary, and spent the last twenty years of her career with the Canada Revenue Agency. Peggy will be remembered for her warm and engaging personality, her kindness and generosity, as well as her quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. She fought her ill health for a number of years with dignity and courage. Peggy is survived and will be missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Laraine and John McIntyre; nephew, Doug McIntyre and his children, Dylan and Alex of Calgary; niece, Karen (Clint Campion) and their children, Martin, Claire, and Hannah of Anchorage, AK. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Aylean Harris. The family of Peggy Harris would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Carewest Garrison Green for their kind and compassionate care. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
