Peggy Shigeko Madokoro It is with great sadness that we announce that Peggy passed away suddenly at the age of 87 on October 5, 2017. Peggy was born on April 10, 1930 in Vancouver. She was predeceased by her parents Yoshie and Morio Okahori and brother Tosh(Mickey). She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Mamoru. Lovingly remembered by her four children Elaine(Jack), Kelly(Andy), Craig(Julia), Mark(Rachel); grandchildren Lauren(Jarret), Chris, Amanda(Greg), Danielle, Naomi; great granddaughter, Paige; sisters Hide, Mitsu, Kathy(Ron); brother-in-law Tom(May) and many friends and relatives. Peggy loved gardening, baking, crafts, knitting, but especially going to the Casino. She was truly selfless, putting others' needs before herself; never expecting anything in return. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by anyone touched by her generosity!The family would like to thank the staff of 3C and the ICU at Burnaby General Hospital for their outstanding care.
