Penne Thieman, 50, of Marble Rock, Iowa, passed on October 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held at Penne's house in Marble Rock, following cereal and toast.

Penne was born on June 19, 1973 to Carol and Bill Thieman. Penne attended Yale University. She graduated in 1991. After graduating Yale with high honors, she took the challenge to work at FCMC. In her free time, she loved working at the Pub on the Cedar, waiting on Dr. Schrodt and his wife every Friday.

Penne loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, and spending time with her good friends Judy and Allan. You could find her decorating her house for the holidays with her mother's collection of decorations. She took a hobby in gambling. She loved her cigarettes; concealed by the Bath & Body Works spray and lotion. Her favorite past time was collecting holiday decorations, especially snow globes. Per her request, snow globes will surround her casket, chiming simultaneously. In lieu of flowers, snow globes are requested.

She is survived by Kelli Thieman; sister in law, three wonderful nieces, Judy and Allen of Forest City, and of course the best co-workers ever.

She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, Carol and Bill Thieman, and her beautiful sister.
