Penny E. LeddonPenny Ellen Leddon, 63, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in IU Health Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1951 in Lafayette, to the late Joseph and Jane (Perigo) Garrison. Penny graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1969. She was married to Robert Leddon and they later divorced. Penny owned and operated her own daycare in her home. She also drove a City Bus and worked for the Indiana Blood Center and Mary Lou Donuts. Penny enjoyed gardening, was a professional garage saler, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was always willing to take in stray cats, dogs, and people. Surviving are her sons, Chris (Katie) Garrison and Brett (Alice) Leddon both of Lafayette; her daughter, Amy Ellison (Kevin) of Lafayette; her brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Garrison of Indianapolis and Robert (Candy) Garrison of West Lafayette; a sister, Mary (Rick Matlock) of Oxford and her significant other Mark Gephart of Lafayette. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Whitney, Jordan, Kinleigh, Sydney, Megan, Emily, Chelsey and 2 great grandchildren, Nico and Aleesya. Services will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Duff officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Spring Vale Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
