Pernie “Penny” Noe, 83,

of Keith, KY went home to be

with the Lord on

Monday, August 14,2023, at

Holston Valley Medical

Center,Kingsport,TN.

Born January 20, 1940 in Harlan County, KY. Penny spent most of her life

working at Laurel's assisting the residents

and preparing their food. She was a loving

mother to five children. She was a loving,

generous, kind- hearted woman who would do

anything for anyone; she also had a passion

for helping animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents,

Isaac “Preacher” Soutlherland, Sr. and

Amanda Shoemaker Southerland; one son,

John David Noe; four brothers, Isaac, Jr.,

Lloyd,Luther and William Southerland.

Penny is survived by four children, Sally “Sis”

Leath and husband, George, Corbin,KY; William

Michael Noe and wife, Lisa, Corbin,KY; Kimberly

Elizabeth Noe, Harlan,KY and Mark Noe,Corbin,KY

two brothers, Beckham Southerland and wife,

Gloria, Harlan and Chester Southerland and

wife, Linda, Kingsport, TN; and one sister,

Juanita Gilbert and husband, Larry, Harlan.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren,

Kimberly Bray Harlan,KY; Ashley Blackburn, Church Hill, TN; Whitney

Killion,Harlan,KY;Tiffany Smithers,Harlan,KY;Amanda Stewart,Harlan,KY

Brianna Noe,Jesse Noe and Jonathan Noe; and

21 great-grandchildren.

Visition is Thursday August 17, 2023 from 5-8 p.m.at Tetrick Funeral Home. Preacher Shawn Daniels will be officiating.

Burial will be held at Shoemaker Cemetery Keith,KY

at 2:30 p.m. with Jesse Noe, C. J. Powell, Chris Bray,

Brayden Noe and Jacob Stewart serving as

pallbearers.
