Peter Karl John Jr., died unexpectedly on October 1, 2013 in Juneau, Alaska. He was born on September 11, 1961 in Juneau, Alaska. Pete was Raven (Suxteeneidi from Juneau) Dogsalmon (L'eeneidi from Auk Kwan-Juneau).He is survived by his sisters Karlene John, Katherine John (Merle Johnson), Virginia John and Julie David, and brothers Charles, and Harvey Wheaton of Juneau and Harold Wheaton Jr. from Alabama, auntie Alice Bennett and many cousins, nephews and nieces.Pete is preceded in death by his parents Peter John Sr. and Esther (Karlson) Wheaton, step-father Harold Wheaton Sr., and sister Hannah Wheaton, maternal grandparents Karl and Annie Karlson, paternal grandparents Charlie and Katherine John. Uncles Erick and Karl Karlson and David and aunt Lillian John, Ronald John Sr. and aunt Elsie and uncle Joe Bennett Sr., aunts Mary Hotchkiss, Martha Jackson and Mary B. Johnson.A memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Glacier Valley Church of God on Thunder Mountain Road.
