Phillip Michael Johnson, 34 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on July 12, 2023, in a car accident in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Phillip was born on July 15, 1989, to James C. Johnson and Elsa (Radcliff) in Zweibrucken, Germany. Phillip graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School in 2007 and attended Florida International University from 2007 to 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration. Afterwards, he served as a Logistics Officer in the United States Navy and worked for the Veteran Administration. His favorite hobbies were mountain climbing, traveling, and writing. He authored a book entitled,” Welcome to the United Polarization of America.”
Phillip is survived by his parents James and Elsa Johnson, his brother Christopher W. Johnson, wife (Candice), nephew (Isaiah), and nieces, (Rosie and Juliann, his grandmothers, Magnolia Cail, and Gerri Johnson, his uncles, Mark E. Johnson (Stephanie), Kenneth Radcliff, James Clarke (Brenda), his aunt, Susan M. Gonzalez(George), his first cousins, Cheyenne and Julianne Radcliff, Nicholas Johnson, Emilio and Gabrielle Gonzalez, and Myles Miller. We would like to thank the Randolph, Radcliff, Miller, and Cail families for their love, prayers, and support.
A celebration of life service is schedule at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 8264 Long Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32211 on August 5, 2023, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the National Association of Veterans and Families, 1300 Cooks Lane, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
