Phyllis D. Eckhoff, 75Sauk RapidsSept. 21, 1942 - Oct. 5, 2017A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Phyllis D. Eckhoff, age 75, of Sauk Rapids.  Phyllis passed away October 5 at her home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Phyllis was born on September 21, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Howard and Dorothy (Selinsky) Weise.  She was a 1960 graduate of Edison High School in Minneapolis where she was on the volleyball, basketball and baseball teams. After High School she went on to get her LPN Nursing Degree from Golden Valley Nursing School. She had two children by her first marriage, moved to Milaca and worked at the Milaca Elim Nursing Home. Later she became a floral designer at Milaca Floral.  She married Roger Eckhoff on September 2, 1989 at the Milaca United Methodist Church.  They moved to Lisle, Illinois and she graduated from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois as a Registered Nurse.  She worked in Aurora, Ill as an RN. In 1993 she moved to South Haven, MN, living on the lake and enjoying her quilting. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Amy (Dawn), nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She is also survived by special great nephews Zach and Ethan, sister-in-laws Sharon and Mary and other relatives and friends. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, son John and brothers Howard, Jr., Ronald and Richard.
