Phyllis E. Pearson, (68), passed away from this mortal life on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. She was born on November 15, 1943 in Columbus, Indiana.Phyllis and her family moved to Yuma from Provo, Utah, January 1980, and have lived and remained in Yuma since with her loving husband Gilbert I. Pearson. Phyllis loved to read, talk on the phone with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Phyllis will be missed very much by her family and friends. Phyllis was a loving wife of 45 years to her husband, Gilbert I. Pearson and a loving mother to her 7 children, Todd, Teresa, Michelle, Ted, Amy, Andrew and Matthew Pearson. Grandmother to Samantha, Shelby, Ian, Mylie & Lucy.Visitations will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 4200 W. 18th Street, in Yuma, Arizona on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 5-8pm. Services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints at 4200 W. 18th Street, in Yuma. Her final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to her husband, Gilbert I. Pearson.
