Phyllis Rodney was born on April 4, 1943 and departed from this life on December 25, 2024. Phyllis was an individual of immeasurable courage and grace who touched many lives through her warmth and compassion. Devoted in her roles, she showed unending love and devotion to her beloved family.
Her story is one of extraordinary sacrifice and determination. In pursuit of the American dream, she left her beloved children in the care of her loving parents in Jamaica while she worked tirelessly in the United States to build a foundation for their future. Her sacrifices bore fruit when she reunited her family in America, fulfilling her dream of providing them with greater opportunities and a better life.
In her journey of life, Phyllis illustrated resilience that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, strength and dignity will forever be engraved in the hearts of the many lives she touched. A private service will be held in her honor at her birthplace in Pisgah, St. Elizabeth Jamaica on February 18th or 19th at 11am.
Phyllis will be remembered not for her departure, but for the life she lived, the love she shared, and the joy she brought to those around her.
