Pierre J. "Pete" Beaudet, 75, died peacefully on December 4, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester and was born on September 24, 1941, the only child of Romeo and Lillian (Beaulieu) Beaudet. Pete enjoyed a long career as a master cabinet maker who was known for the quality of his workmanship. He worked at Hermsdorf Manufacturing Company, owned and operated Beaudet Woodworking and was a foreman and project manager at several other firms. He was a devout Catholic, dedicated to his family and appreciated everything he had in life. He was a lifelong fan of the Red Sox and Patriots, enjoyed golfing and stamp collecting and was an enthusiastic amateur genealogist. Pete was a truly gentle spirit with a kind and generous heart. He will be remembered as the world's greatest Dad and Pepere, a devoted husband and will be missed by all who knew him. The family includes his wife of 54 years, Doris (Courtemanche) Beaudet of Manchester, five children, Michele Beaudet-Miller and her husband, Kenneth, of Lexington, KY, Suzanne Newman and her husband, Peter, of Amherst, Denise Beaudet of Nashua, Camille Cohen and her husband, Alan, of Prior Lake, MN and Philip Beaudet of Manchester; four grandchildren, Kathy Bastian, Ethan Miller, Alissa Miller and Samuel Newman; a great grandson, Jack Bastian; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt.
