He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth White, Sr.; and his parents, Pinkard White, Sr. and the former Gertrude Borel. Known for his quick wit and larger-than-life personality, Pinkard grew up on the bayou and never lost his love for fishing, even in his later years. His family and friends will always remember him as a happy-go-lucky guy who could make anyone laugh.
Pinkard was many things in life – a veteran, a father, and a grandfather, just to name a few – but he will always be remembered as a true Cajun at heart. He loved his gumbo spicy, his music loud.
Despite facing some health challenges in his later years, Pinkard never lost his humor or his love for life. He will be sorely missed by his beloved family, who will always cherish his memory and keep his spirit alive in their hearts.
Farewell, Pinkard. We know you're up there in heaven now, cracking jokes and keeping the party going. Rest in peace.
