Polly was born on December 28th, 1971 and was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg. Polly was a successful author of the Poetry book "The Passionate and Lonely Soul". She was an active member of the community, working with low-income housing companies and members of the political community working to improve the life of disabled individuals and veterans. She was a caring, kind and giving person who always comforted anyone in need.
Polly is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and James McCarey; her granddaughter, Kimberly-Ann McCarey; her father, Paul Blodgett; her maternal grandmother, Marie Lizotte; her brothers and sisters, Charles Boudreau, Dana Hilton, Gina Graves, and Penny Williams; five nieces, Cassandra Willhite,Takkisha Snowden, Elizabeth Boudrea, Reva Graves, and Emily Boudreau; one great niece, Arianna Willhite; three great nephews, Cameron Willhite, Ezra Vargas, and Jak Fontaine; numerous aunts and uncles; and many beloved friends, Tina and Jayson Albert, Tony Toland, Vicki Mintz, Carol Toland and to many more to name.
She is predeceased by her sister, Paula Ann Blodgett; her mother, Marie Lizotte, and her paternal grandmother Lucielle Bowlan.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at Saint Josephs Church 49 Woodland St Fitchburg, MA 01420 at 10 am. That will be followed by a memorial service in the coalition hall of the same church. Any cards, donations, flowers etc. can be sent directly to the church or given in person at the memorial service.
