Preston JonesSmyrna, TNPreston Jones, 81 years of age, of Smyrna, TN, passed away at his home on June 10, 2017. He was born on July 19, 1933 in Unicoi, TN. He is preceded in death by parents, Alonzo and Flora (Bowman) Jones: brothers, Albert and Leroy Jones; and sister, Geneva (Humphreys) Walker. He is survived by wife, Erma (Prielipp) Jones; daughter. Debra Jones: son, Anthony Jones: and granddaughter, Track Lee Jones, as well as an extended loving family. He proudly served in the Army from 1951-1955. He was a retired musician and resided in Toledo, OH for over forty years before settling in Smyrna, TN. A private military soviet was arranged by Murfreesboro Funeral Home and held at Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN on June 17, 2017.
