Priscilla Dantzler passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 19, 2023, at the age of 70. She was born on July 21, 1953, in Joliet, Illinois, to Ida-Mae Dantzler. Priscilla was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother who leaves behind a loving family.
Priscilla is survived by her three beloved children, Anthony Tate and his spouse Michelle Tate, Naomi Brown and her spouse Tyson Brown, and Tania Evans and her spouse Shadell Evans. She was a devoted and nurturing mother, always providing love and support to her children throughout their lives.
Being a grandmother brought immeasurable joy to Priscilla's life. She leaves behind nine grandchildren Kayla Daniels, Talayah Daniels, Jazmine Daniels, Kedria Evans, Khadajah Evans, Charlotte Danztler, Azariel Brown, Monroe Brown, and Quan Jimmerson, whose lives she touched profoundly. Her love and guidance will forever be cherished by each of them.
Priscilla received her education from Joliet Central High School, where she graduated in 1970. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a career as a nurse. Priscilla dedicated herself to caring for others, as she had a natural gift for healing and compassion.
Beyond her professional achievements, Priscilla was very active at her church as a minister. She believed it was her purpose to serve the Lord and help as many people as she could. Priscilla was admired for her warm and effervescent personality. She had a contagious laughter that could brighten even the darkest of days and a smile that brought comfort to those around her. Priscilla's approachable nature made her a dear friend to many, and she cherished the lifelong connections she fostered.
Priscilla's passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew her and loved her. Her memory will be forever cherished, and her legacy will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren.
