Prisiliano Sanchez, 74, of Imperial passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013. Prisiliano was born on September 11, 1939 in Las Rosas, Michoacon, MX. He married Josefina Sanchez. He worked as a machine operator for Holly Sugar. After retirement he enjoyed spending time outdoors planting trees, flowers and watering his grass. He enjoyed visiting with his neighbors and going out to eat with his compadre, Alberto Aguilar. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a devoted member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and picked up the collections every Sunday. He was a very caring father, loved by those who knew him, and always willing to help those in need. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Sanchez and Altagracia Vargas; sibling, Aurelia, who passed away 15 years ago; and wife, Josefina Sanchez, who passed away in 2005. He is survived by his siblings, Transito of Mexico, Andres of Mexico, Efrain of Yakima, Washington, Ines of Mexico, Jorge of Sunnyside, Washington, Lucina of Mexico and Siria of Mexico; children, Roberto Sanchez of Brawley, Daniel Sanchez of Brawley, Leticia Sanchez Ayala of Imperial and Andy Sanchez of Brawley; 9 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary with rosary at 7 p.m. Service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 9 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery.
