Gwen was a resident of New Iberia, LA. She transitioned at 1:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 03,2023, at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son: Albert Collette of New Iberia La; two daughters: Tomika Collette of New Iberia La , Tonya Collette of Lafayette La; Four grandkids: Katelyn Williams, Cameron Williams, Amoni Boutte, and Kaysha Boutte all of New Iberia, LA. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends

She was preceded in death by her father: Robert James Collette ; her mother Alice Marie Collette; one brother: Robert James Collette, Jr ; two sisters Doris Ann Collette, Cherry Lynn Collette.

Pallbearers are members of the immediate family.
