Lison, R. ScottThe purpose of this little missive is to announce to his friends and his foes that R. Scott Lison is no longer vertical and taking nourishment. He died on Friday, October 28, 2016 of heart failure and no longer resides on this plane.Scott was born on January 28, 1949, to Dick and Shirley (Wheeler) Lison in Green Bay, WI. After attending Premontre High School, Scott was proud to have served his country as a member of the
U.S. Navy. He maintained membership in the D.A.V. as well as American Legion Sullivan Wallen Post # 11 in Green Bay. During his working years, Scott was employed in the trucking industry.On August 12, 2000, Scott married the love of his life, Stacy Noegel. He referred to her as his "life saver" and the two spent many happy hours in their shared pursuits of reading and watching the Brewers and Packers, or getting together with friends over a beer. Scott was known for his generous heart and was willing to do most anything to help a friend or family member. It was a family joke that he had helped to move just about every one of his seven siblings at least once, a few several times.He is survived by his beloved wife, Stacy; sisters, Chris Rosera, Stacey (Tom) Klimek, Angie (Steve) Jack, Leah (Bob) Block, and Claudia (Scott) Schneider; brother, Nick Lison (Kat Killoran); and sister-in-law, Merry Lison; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Shirley Lison; his brother, Matt; brother-in-law, Paul Rosera; and brother-in-law, Christopher Noegel.Friends may call at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr., Allouez from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, November 5, 2016.
