Ralph Moore was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born on September 25th, 1949 and grew up in Compton, CA with a large family.
Ralph touched the lives of many people in his time here on Earth. He lived in Los Angeles, Marin, Germany, and finally San Francisco. He was married to Grace Henderson and had two children with her, Aaron and Nichelle. He was also married to Liana Bates and had two children with her, Qiana and Marcus. He is survived by his siblings Porter, Eric, Wilford, Linda, Sharon, Judy, Angela, and Latonya; his four children; and six beautiful grandchildren.
Later in his life, Ralph moved back to the Bay Area and created a thriving community for himself. Ralph was a popular man; wherever he went, he had friends and colleagues. Ralph spent the last part of his life tirelessly giving back to his community through work and volunteering. He was a case manager working with unhoused San Franciscans at Healthright360 and Bayview Hunters Point Foundation. He also volunteered with social justice groups doing anti-incarceration and recovery work.
Ralph loved bragging about his family, supporting his friends with whatever they needed, going to church, listening to music, and eating good food. Ralph was always there with a joke, a smile, and a helping hand for those who needed it. All of his friends have a story about a time he helped them out, whether it was giving them a ride, treating them to a meal, or giving them some well-earned life advice.
Ralph will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and community. Rest in Peace and Power, Ralph.
