Maas, Ralph L.Ralph L. Maas, age 90, of Fall River passed away on September 7, 2017 at The Meadows in Fall River. Funeral Services were held on September 13, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Victor Tegtmeier officiating. Burial took place at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee. Ralph Leroy Maas was born on August 24, 1927 in Sheboygan, the son of William and Emma (nee Splitt) Maas. He served in the
United States Navy from 1945 to 1949. He was honorably discharged from the Navy as a Medtech and received an honorable medal for his service in
World War II. On August 26, 1950, he was united in marriage to Arlyn Person at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Ralph was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was a very active member in his churches. Most of his life, he worked as a National Service Manager for lawn and garden equipment. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and camping. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, and watching and rooting for the Brewers and Packers. Ralph is survived by his wife, Arlyn Maas, of Fall River; his children, Sharon Heaney of Pleasant Prairie, Dale Maas of Hartland, Nancy (Mike) Osborne of Columbus and Janelle (Corey) Keeling of Fort Atkinson; eleven grandchildren, Mandy (Dan) Rompella, Dustin (Amber) Weimann, Brandon (Katti) Weimann, Monica (Sean) Skellie, Jonathan Maas, Michael, Mark and Matthew Osborne, Sarah and Amber Walters, Cody Keeling and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Maas; grandchildren, Shawn Osborne and Dillan Walters; brother, Donald Maas; and sister, Carol (Simeon) Galginaitis. The family would like to thank the Hillside Home Care and Hospice, The Poser Clinic and Staff and The Meadows Staff for their support. Ralph will truly be missed.
