FAIRBORN — Malone II, Ralph (Jim), age 65, of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at VA Hospice after fighting a long battle of cancer. He was born on May 23, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Ralph and Armella Malone. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 2004. Jim is survived by his daughter, Monica Malone and granddaughter, Kyleigh Smith. He is also survived by one brother and three sisters with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family will greet friends two hours before the services on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Happy Corner Church of the Brethren located at 7037 N. Union Road, Clayton, Ohio, beginning 11:30 AM. Burial will follow with Military Honors at the Dayton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to VA Hospice.
