Randall Eugene Gray, 70 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Monday, July 31st 2023.
Randall Eugene Gray was born February 16, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Margaret Fell and William Holman. He attended school in the Kansas City, Missouri School District and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972.
He married his childhood sweetheart Linda Katen on May 8, 1981. He has five sons: Randall, Kevin, Michael, Christopher, and Reynard.
Randall’s career consisted of working for the City of KCMO Water Services Department for 20 years. He then went to work for the Kansas City Missouri School District at Warford Elementary for approximately 15 years, part-time at Walmart, and then retired. After retiring Randall relocated to Riverside California with his wife.
He had a passion for baseball, loved his jazz music, and was known to rhyme his words in conversation. (LOL). His nickname was “Randy Red” also “Red”. But most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father William Holman, his brother Billy T. Holman, and his son Kevin Gray.
Randall departed this life Monday July 31st at his California home.
He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 40 years Linda Gray, mother Margaret Fell, four sons: Randall, Michael, Christopher, and Reynard. Sisters: Victoria Gray and Kim Holman of Kansas City, MO., Karla Holman and Shauna Holman of Seattle, WA., and Karen Holman of Kansas City, MO., two brothers: Mark and Andre, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of relatives, and friends.
He will be dearly missed.
