Ramon Sandoval, 73, passed away peacefully in his home on November 10, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 4, 1943. After attending Bowie High School, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served proudly for four years. Ramon loved playing baseball with his two sons, and his daughter was his pride and joy. He is survived by his mother, Carmen O. Pedroza, sons Raymond and Alex Sandoval, daughter Maria Carmen Murdock, sisters Isabel Lagarda and Dolores Mungaray, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernadette Sandoval. A gathering will take place from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 11/16 at Perches Alameda Funeral Home, 7580 Alameda Ave., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A ceremonial mass will take place at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church on Thursday, 11/17 at 12:00 p.m. Internment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
