Randall L. "Randy" KraftRandall L. "Randy" Kraft, 66, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at his residence. Randy was born on August 9, 1950 in Rochester, IN to the late Rev. Kenneth and Olive (Black) Kraft. He was currently married to his wife of 13 years, Debbie (Green) Kraft.Randy worked for 30 years as a carpenter. Prior to that, he served for 4 years in the Air Force, and worked as an insurance agent for 10 years. Randy and Debbie were members of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, where Randy was very active in the church choir, and also narrated special programs that the church performed. He loved being worship leader on Sunday mornings, working with the church youth as a mentor, and volunteering his time and skills when needed.Randy was in several bowling leagues, was an avid golfer, a Purdue Fan, and a lifelong Cubs fan who finally got to see them win the World Series. The times he spoke and cherished most were those spent with his three boys. He loved taking them fishing and just spending time with them. He will be remembered most for his amazing laugh and sense of humor, along with being a great joke teller. Survivors include his wife Debbie, 3 sons, Jeremy "Astraea" Kraft, of Lafayette, Ryan (wife: Kelly) Kraft of Tampa, FL, Kevin Kraft of Tampa, FL, and their mother, Donna Baer Kraft of Lafayette. Also surviving are 1 brother, Tim (wife: Jackie) Kraft, 1 niece, 5 nephews, and cousins Sam and Becky Chambers.Memorial Services will be held on July 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Pastor Chris Danielson officiating.
