Atkins, Randall R.Randall R. Atkins, 72, died at home surrounded by his family on Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born on October 24, 1944, a son of Roy and Helen (Gilson) Abig. His father, Roy, was KIA in the winter of 1944/45 during the Battle of the Bulge. His mother remarried. Randall was then adopted by his step-father, Robert Atkins. On February 22, 1964, Randall married Judith Mortenson in Fond du Lac. Randall loved being outdoors. He owned Four Seasons Automotive, where he worked on vehicles and built go-carts for his children and grandchildren. Randall enjoyed cooking and watching T.V. He earned a technical degree through Giddings & Lewis. A Machinist for Mercury Marine, he worked over 3 decades before his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Judith; seven children, Roy (Bea), Alan (friend Peggy Lueck), Barb Atkins (friend Tim), Bob (fiancé Terri Ross), Jeff "Joey" (Amy), Chris (friend Joe) and the late Dawn Atkins-Liebelt; twelve grandchildren, Mercedes Atkins, Ashley Jorgenson, Bobbie Jo Ryan, Robert Ryan, Tonisha Atkins, Tanen John Atkins, Gage Atkins, Lane Atkins, Corey Atkins, Theresa Atkins, Brooke Liebelt and Emma Atkins; three step-great-grandchildren, Sandra Nett, Melanie Braeger and Shaun Menke; future grandchildren, Dean, Devon and Danielle; four great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Brian (Mary); a special sister-in-law, Mary Jo (Ron) Schafer; two step-siblings; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn; an infant child; maternal and paternal grandparents; his step-father, Richard Rademann; a step-brother, Keith Rademann; and aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Rev. Jack Harrison of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. VISITATION will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until the time of service.
