Randy L. Middleton, 60, of Lafayette passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2016 in Las Cruces, NM. Randy was born on March 12, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Vernal and Beverly Middleton. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Tumon, Guam and earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Randy worked for Healthcare Services Group and was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Parish. Randy most enjoyed spending his free time biking and hiking here in Colorado with his beloved dog, Lily and creating special "Papa Randy" adventures with his grandchildren. Randy brought his own joy to all those around him. His caring compassion and kindness were especially felt by his family and friends and will forever be a legacy treasured by all of those who were blessed to know him. Randy and Patricia (Markey) were married on April 10, 1986 in Wheaton, IL. Randy is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Allison Schriever (Chris) and Brad Einhorn (Robin); siblings, William Middleton (Evelyn), Suzan Estrada (Ernie), Patsy Dow and Brian Middleton; grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Katherine, Jacob and Gabriel. He is also survived and will be forever remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members who were all so important and cherished by Randy. Randy was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation and Vigil will be Thursday, November 17 at 5:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 18 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mass celebrant will be Father Mark Kovacik, concelebrated by Father Juan Bonilla, Father William Breslin, Father Jose Chicas, Father Chris Renner and Father Enrique Salazar. Interment will be at Sacred Heart of Mary following the Mass and reception. Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church or The Lupus Foundation of America.
