It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rashad Woolridge, who died on March 22, 2023, at the age of 33. Rashad was a beloved son, brother, nephew, friend, and member of the Amityville, New York community. He was born on July 15, 1989, to his parents, Ramen R. Woolridge and Tabitha B. Lewis.

Rashad was a kind, generous, and personable young man who had a passion for life and a deep love for his family and friends. He spent his formative years in Amityville and attended Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School, where he graduated in 2007. After high school, Rashad pursued various interests and hobbies, including music, art, and sports. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing guitar and writing songs. Rashad was also an excellent artist who loved to paint and draw.

Despite his many interests, Rashad always had a strong work ethic and held several jobs over the years. He was dedicated to his work and was always willing to go above and beyond to help his colleagues and customers. Rashad was a selfless individual who put others before himself and always looked for ways to make a positive impact on those around him.

Rashad had a tight-knit circle of friends and family who will miss him dearly. Although he never had any children of his own, he had a special bond with his nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them. Rashad was a devoted son to his parents and always made sure they were taken care of. He will be remembered as a kind and caring individual who brought joy to those who knew him.

Our hearts go out to Rashad's family and friends during this difficult time. We will cherish the memories we have of him and remember him always. Rest in peace, Rashad Woolridge.
