We mourn the loss of Raymond Fontaine, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 73. His time with us was brief, but his impact on our lives and community in Hati, Maputo Province, Mozambique will never be forgotten.

Raymond was born on January 1, 1950, and grew up in Hati. He had a passion for learning and was a dedicated student throughout his life. He went on to pursue higher education, earning a degree in engineering from a renowned university.

Raymond was a kind and gentle soul who had a heart full of compassion. He spent most of his life working for various nonprofit organizations that helped people in need. He worked hard to make a difference in the lives of those around him, never expecting anything in return.

His kindness and generosity will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. Raymond was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was selfless, humble, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

We extend our deepest condolences to Raymond's family and friends during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

He leaves behind his brother Oscar Fontaine, Son Junior Fontaine, Daughters, Tatiana Fontaine, Nadia Fountain and 11 grandkids.
